Health Psychology Consultation
Not sure what to do with your clients who have complex co-morbid medical conditions? More and more mental health providers are seeing clients with chronic health issues, and many therapists didn’t get this training in school.
Individual consultation in health psychology can help you feel more confident in your ability to work with clients with medical conditions and how to apply evidence based interventions for these clients. Consultation may also revolve around issues related to navigating the medical system and interdisciplinary dynamics.

Consultation Pricing
We want you to be happy! If you are unsure about what you’re looking for or if we can meet your needs, please contact us before purchasing a consultation session/package and we can work together to figure out if we are the right fit for you.

If you have a very specific goal (like working on your online therapist directory profile or you want help applying a specific pain psychology technique) OR if you’re not exactly sure if consultation is right for you, then you may decide to start with a one-time session. One-time individual consultation sessions are available for both practice building AND health psychology concerns.
$200.00 per 60 minute consultation session.

If you know that you are going to want more support right off the bat or if you already had an initial session and want more- this is the plan for you! Get extra bang for your buck and develop a deeper consultation relationship by planning for 4 sessions at once. These sessions can be structured to meet your individual needs.
$680.00 for a package of 4 consultation sessions ($800 value; you save $120!)

Once you are engaged in one-on-one consultation services, you have the option to add on the opportunity to have Dr. Steiner review your practice materials (e.g. therapist directory profile, website, etc.) and provide feedback outside of your scheduled session. These services are billed at the same hourly rate as Individual Consultation Sessions and can be requested directly after an initial consultation session.

All sales of consultation sessions and review of materials are final. NO REFUNDS. For consultation sales, you will be charged at the time of purchase.
Dr. Steiner has a no show/cancellation policy for consultation sessions; you must notify Dr. Steiner within 24 hours of your appointment time to cancel in order to preserve your session without using your session credit. If you cancel with greater than 24 hours notice, the session credit will be applied to your next scheduled session.
If you fail to present for your consultation session as scheduled, or if you fail to notify Dr. Steiner of your need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, your session credit will be applied. You will not be refunded for consultation sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or that you failed to attend.
